Stop Worrying
Isaiah 7:4 NLT
Tell him to stop worrying. Tell him he doesn’t need to fear the fierce anger of those two burned-out embers, King Rezin of Syria and Pekah son of Remaliah.

One thing that propels us to the next level of our walk with God is our prayer.
Often times the prayer that we pray goes unanswered.
This is what the bible says in Isaiah 7:4, “Tell him to stop worrying. Tell him he doesn’t need to fear the fierce anger of those two burned-out embers, King Rezin of Syria and Pekah son of Remaliah.”
This is God speaking through prophet Isaiah to King Ahaz. He was facing a battle with Israel and Syria and he was tempted to team up with Assyria instead of staying with Israel.
God is saying to King Ahaz not to fear and stop worrying about his enemies because in God’s eyes they are just like burned-out embers. But King Ahaz along with his prayers filled with worry and anxiety and seeking God, he also continued to seek an alliance with Assyria.
This is the problem that even many of us have. Because of our worries and fears we end up making alliances with the things that we need to stay away from.
God will not respond to a prayer that is mixed with doubt, worry, anxiety and fear.
God does not respond to your fear, He responds to your faith. Share on XIf you see your problems from God’s perspective, you would not find any reason to worry, instead you will lift your eyes to the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth, He is the one you can trust in and built your faith on.
Let there be nothing that will distract you or cause you to fear. At the first temptation to fear, run into the presence of God and express your faith in Him and see how your prayers will be answered.

Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
