I am God

Series: The Book of Isaiah

We have been studying the book of Isaiah and today we are in chapter 43. This is a word of encouragement and cause you to fall afresh in love with God and His grace in your life.

Isaiah 43:13 – “From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.”

God is speaking this over your life . This is a reason to worship the God that we follow, and walk with Him.

God is saying from eternity to eternity – the eternity that is from Genesis 1 to the eternity that is mentioned in Revelation 21. Everything that happens, every tiny moment, day and year has been recorded and planned out. God is still God over all of time.

So often we get caught up in our life circumstances and we live in fear, pain, addictions and depression, because we don’t believe that God is God. But the moment we just step out and let in the promise that God has spoken in the word into our hearts, time will be nothing for Him, He will be God in every season of your life.

Do you really believe, acknowledge and honour that God is God in every season of your life?

Here God is implying that you are in His hands. You are placed in His hands. You were created, formed and anointed by Him.

There were several phases of your life where God touched you.

– When He created you He formed you in your mother’s womb, His hand was upon you.
– When He called you, His hand was upon you.
– When He anointed you, His hand came upon you.
– When He led you, His hand held you, His hand was upon you.

Later on in every phase of life, every time and every season of life His hand has always been with you and upon you.

God is saying no one can snatch you from His hands. This is the confidence that the Father is having in Himself, in His ability to protect His children. God’s love for us is unconditional.

The bible says nothing in all of creation can separate us from the love of God, which is revealed to us in Christ. Nothing can snatch you from the hand of God, nor life, death, angels, demons, past, present or future sins.

In this scripture, God is speaking three things:

1.From eternity to eternity I am God.
2. No one can snatch anyone from my hand.
3. No one can undo what I have done.

This morning God is opening some doors. He is working in ways that you cannot see. He is answering prayers that you have been praying for ages. He is unlocking the locks that have been put in over your life by the enemy.

When God promotes and blesses nobody can undo it.

God’s unconditional love towards you should give us a reason to worship Him.
