Let us search out all the promises God has given us.

Genesis 48:4 – God said to me ‘I will make you fruitful and numerous. I will make many nations come from you, and I will give you this land as an internal possession to you and to your future descendants.‘

This is a promise Jacob received from God. This is Jacob (Israel) reminding his children of the promise. Israel’s children hadn’t seen the fulfilment or the promises of God. Issac didn’t see the fulfilment of it, nor did Abraham.

God had given long term promises, but these guys didn’t see the fulfilment, but they were hopeful about God’s promises coming to pass.

This morning God wants to send a revival into our lives. Will you be willing to believe that everything that God has promised and spoken over your life, will come to pass? Whether or not you see it or experience it, doesn’t matter, God says He wants to impart His glory not just upon us but also through us to bring nations to Him.

We need to know that our blessing cannot just be limited to our own bank account. Our blessing has to be that nations should be impacted as a result of our walk with God.

How we will know that we have received revival in our lives is – we will become fruitful in every area of our lives, as the scripture above says.

It doesn’t matter how small or weak we are, or how much we’re struggling – if God has said that nations will come out from us then nations WILL come out from us.

Further in the verse it says the land will be given to us. The land is not going to last forever, it’s going to fade/melt away someday, but yet God says the land will be given as an eternal possession.

What does God mean by eternal possession?
It means that the people that come out of that land will be saved and the families will be saved etc. for all eternity, wherever you are, in Heaven too.

It will be the reward of having served God, for having been faithful to Him.
