Colossians 3:3 (ASV)
For ye died, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

When you accepted Jesus Christ, what happened was there was a transformation in your heart. When you got baptized, what happens is you absolutely die and you are identifying with the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. All the sins that Jesus carried on the cross, the pain that He endured, the suffering He went through, the agony, the disconnection of communication with Father, all of that was because of my sin and your sin which was laid upon Him.
Today when we accept Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour and when we put our faith into action by taking a step of faith and getting baptized, you are saying yes to burying your old man who died on the cross. It is symbolizing the fact that you are becoming one with the cross of Christ where Jesus died and just like Jesus died and He rose again, you are dying to your old life and you are being buried under the water and you are rising up to new life. That is the significance of baptism.
After that point, your life is hidden with Christ in God the Father.
You have a covering around you. You are hidden in Christ. Anything that the enemy wants to do to you, he would not be able to because you are hidden in Christ.
Live this day with that awareness that you are not alone and that you are wrapped with Christ in God.
If you would spend time praying and seeking the presence of God over your life like never before, you will enjoy the wrapping of God around your life and the touch of God through your life to the people around you.
God bless you.
