Every prophecies and declarations that God has made over our life has significant impact in the spirit realm. It has the capacity to redefine how our destinies will look like.

However, the one thing that can hinder/stop the plans and promises of God from being fulfilled in our lives is our willingness, our availability and our lack of desire to see it fulfilled.

When the angel came to give a prophetic word to Mary of what God wanted to do through her life, it was her willingness to say ‘yes’ to the call by saying that she is the Lord’s slave, led the promise come to pass.

So often its very easy to tell the Lord that we are committed to Him, but we are not sure if we will go all the way.

Mary said, “May it be done to me according to Your word.”

It was very important for Mary’s willingness to go hand in hand with the prophetic word that was declared and released over her life.

There may be someone who is speaking God’s promises over your life constantly, it doesn’t matter how anointed that person is, or even it may be the angel Gabriel himself, unless you receive and say an ‘yes’ to it, it shall not come to pass.

What are some of the expressions to submit to God’s word?

One of the way may be by being vocal and just saying an ‘yes’ to the will of God.

Second could be, by putting that word into action. For instant, if God has promised you a job, then by faith go looking out for jobs.

God’s promises will not automatically come to pass until we do our part in it, by putting our willingness and faith into action. And when you do that, God will honour your radical actions and obedience and His word and all His promises over your life will be fulfilled just at the right time.
