Revival Response
Luke 19:9 NLT
“Jesus responded, “Salvation has come to this home today, for this man has shown himself to be a true son of Abraham.”
God is constantly renewing our mind, reviving our souls and re-engaging us with realities of heaven. God’s desire for us is to experience new and more important things that are eternal.
The more we come to Him and are willing to experience the things that are stored for us, we are setting ourselves up for revival.
When God sends revival, there has to be accompanying action in our lives in the way we respond. So often we love to see God doing great things, but we don’t respond back to what God is doing in an appropriate manner.
Here’s an example from the life of Zacchaeus in Luke 19:9. When Jesus came to his house, He openly said that salvation has come to his house. Salvation itself means Jesus. Jesus said this in response to what Zacchaeus did that day. When Jesus came to his house, Zacchaeus being too filled with joy, he decided to give away 50% of his wealth to the poor and the ones that he has cheated, he was willing to give 4times of what he had taken. That is when Jesus said that salvation has come to his house as he truly showed himself to be a true heir of Abraham.
How often does God do new things in our life? How is your response to it? What is your offering of worship today?
Most of the revivals in the history of church died because eventually people stopped responding to what God was doing and took the revival for granted.
As long as we can remain sacrificially consistent in our serving, God’s move in our life will never end.
Hope that you’d become intentional in responding to His voice today.
