Pray His Purposes
Romans 9:11 NLT
‘But before they were born, before they had done anything good or bad, she received a message from God. (This message shows that God chooses people according to his own purposes; ‘
God chooses you before you are born.
Prayer is not changing the purposes or the mind of God, but to identify the purpose of God in our lives.
Many a times when we pray such prayers we might not see immediate results, but it aligns our will to the divine will of God.
Jesus has to be preeminent in all the things over our life.
In verse it looks like God had chosen Esau for a negative purpose, but that is not true.
If you see that several times in Esau’s life, he chose things that wasn’t in alignment with God’s will. He was all about himself and he wasn’t looking for purpose that was beyond himself.
Today ask God what he wants in your life and what is it that he wants to realign in your life, when you pray such prayers your life will be so aligned with the plan and purposes of heaven and when you reach heaven, God would say “Well and My good and faithful servant”.
