Influence, Fame, Power
Esther 9:4 ESV
For Mordecai was great in the king’s house, and his fame spread throughout all the provinces, for the man Mordecai grew more and more powerful.
God gives us each day to know Him and understand Him and pursue His ways better. We have to learn how not to give up on what God is doing in our lives. The process may take time and it may not be pleasing to us, but in the end God knows to turn it around to be a blessing to us and to the entire generation.
If you read the life of Mordecai from the book of Esther, you would see how much he was mistreated, looked down upon and humiliated by Hamaan, his enemy, but at the end, the scriptures says that He was great in the king’s house and his fame had spread throughout all the provinces. And later it says that every leader of the nation was afraid of him.
Who was he to begin with? He was just a Jew and he didn’t even belong to the palace. But God brought so much favour and influence into his life that not only he began to influence his niece Esther but also the king and his kingdom and because of this, the entire nation began to obey him.
Today it is possible for us to live a life this and experience the favour with the New Testament anointing, the access and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, it is more greater, better and more glorious than the previous covenant that God had made with Abraham and the rest of them.
Mordecai was in Susa, but his fame spread all over the provinces. Today, believe that no matter where you are placed at you can have the grace and fame to reach to people in every province if you do not limit yourself of what God could do through you.
Later it says that Mordecai grew more and more powerful because he was given the king’s authority.
In the New Testament we are under a different dimension, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual power, authorities and thrones. But we have the authority and power given to us by God. The more you begin to exercise the power and begin to manifest that authority, the more that power and the authority will grow. And that is what God has called us, to steward every authority that He has given us so that it can multiply and grow and bless the nations of the earth.
So the three things that we learn from Mordecai life is;
- He became great in the kings house.
- His fame spread through all the provinces.
- He became more and more powerful.
As God made this happen in his life, He will surely do it in your life, by the way you love and serve Him and steward what He has given you.
