The Bible talks about the results when the shepherds shared the news to the people after their encounter with baby Jesus, it says that everybody who heard the voice of the shepherds, they were amazed and surprised when they heard the news.

Today, as you are listening, you are listening to the voice of the shepherd, and I’m here to remind and encourage you that God is releasing something new and fresh in your life. Between yesterday and today, God has turned the hand of the enemy from you. The provisions that were needed to come are at your doorstep today. The Lord has chosen to come down to fight your battles for you.

How are you going to take this news today? How are you going to celebrate? Would you take it for granted or would you be amazed, joyful and begin to worship?

One of the reason that we live an ungrateful, and compromised life is because we are no longer excited about what God is doing on an everyday basis. We only celebrate when God does big things for us once a while. And we forget when He is working on us on a daily basis moulding us and shaping our destinies.

It is not the big things or great influence that will take us to our destiny, though they have a great role to play in our lives, but it is the things that God is building in us on a daily basis that will help us sustain in what God is doing in our lives.

Do not be like Thomas who would want to see and believe. The people heard the news only from the shepherds, they did not see the angels neither did they witnessed the birth of Jesus but yet they celebrated and they are the ones who received the portion and blessings that the shepherds received.

The same grace that your pastor or leader carries by sitting in the presence of Jesus, the same grace and blessing you can receive by celebrating when they just come and give you a word.

May your life be filled with amazement and wonder in worshiping Jesus today.
