So often we think that we don’t need any external help and think we are good by ourselves, we are righteous, godly, pure and holy enough. That is the place which is extremely dangerous, because the moment you say that this is the one area that you are not going to fail in, you just told the enemy which area to attack you in. You like it are not you will be tempted in that one area where you thought you will never ever fail.
Bible says, when we show mercy to others and we show grace to others, we will also receive grace and mercy in those areas of our lives.
There will be a time when we will be standing before the throne of God and we will be judged by God.
Every person, whose names are written in the Book of Life, will enter in to eternity and live with God. Yet the one’s whose names are not written in the Book of Life, they will be cast in to hell for all eternity.
Now bible is very clear, if we break one small law, automatically we have broken every other law.
James is writing this to the believers who already experienced salvation and forgiveness, that there is something to do continually to receive mercy from God, is to extend mercy to others. But when we refuse to show mercy to people, we ourselves lose mercy when we are standing before God.
The one thing that will stand for you or against you will be how much mercy & grace you showed to others without condemning like how Jesus did.
Hope this will be a word of warning and encouragement to you today.
