Tongue Tied

But Moses pleaded with the LORD, “O Lord, I’m not very good with words. I never have been, and I’m not now, even though you have spoken to me. I get tongue-tied, and my words get tangled.” – Exodus 4:10 NLT

Transcript:

When God is on our side, our greatest weaknesses, biggest struggles, ugliest sins, falls and mistakes will turn into our biggest blessings.

In Exodus 4:10, Moses pleaded with the Lord saying that he was not a good speaker/orator and not the right candidate to speak on His behalf. Many of us are pregnant with divine Godly purposeful dreams in our spirit and yet we experience the physical lack of support, ability, finances or even anointing and wondering how we are going to ever do what God wants us to do.

Whenever God does pick somebody, He is not necessarily looking at their strong suits. It is not that God cannot use our strengths and abilities, and yet, He has a pattern of picking up people who think they are good for nothing and do not estimate themselves as qualified to serve Him and those are the people that God would use the most.

For example, Paul was a persecutor of the church and was hurting God in the bargain of his ambitions and yet God wanted to use him to build His church.

If you are feeling the exact same way, I would like to remind you that when God speaks to you, calls you out, and ordains you, it does not matter what you have or what you do not have. All that matters is how humble, receptive, mouldable, available, surrendered, prayerful and aligned are you to His ways and principles.

If you are somebody who is willing to surrender yourself, you have no idea what God can do through you. Your past, weaknesses and struggles do not limit God.

God is not limited by our limitations. Share on X

If you are willing to surrender yourself to the Lord once again, pray with me.

Prayer: Lord, here I am, just like Moses said, just like Abraham said, just like Isaiah said and just like Jesus said, here I am send me, here I am use me, here I am take me and mould me, do whatever you wanted to do through my life. I am all yours. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
