They ate as much as they wanted. Afterward, the disciples picked up seven large baskets of leftover food. – Mark 8:8 (NLT)

Transcript:

We are familiar with the story of Jesus feeding the four thousand. In fact, the story starts with an incident of a shortage of food or lack of food. People were sitting at the feet of Jesus receiving, hearing and understanding everything that God’s heart had in store for them. In that process, they had a lack. It is possible that we also might be praying and doing our daily spiritual activities and aligned to God’s heart yet we might reach a place of shortage and lack. We might question ourselves on how can this happen even when Jesus is with us.

The truth is God knows in advance that there is going to be a lack or shortage but the purpose behind the lack is to see Jesus through it all. Therefore we must disconnect from the world around us and focus on the solution and the solution giver that is Jesus.

In the story, Jesus didn’t disconnect with the people or send them out from His presence but allowed them to stay there and find a solution in His presence. That is exactly what God wants you to do this season. Don’t isolate or disconnect from His presence because your breakthrough comes only in the presence of God.

The world out there might give you counterfeit solutions but solutions that will bring glory to God, solutions that will bring satisfaction to your soul will come only in the presence of God and these guys in the story stayed there.
And finally, the verse above is the result of the persistency to remain in the presence of God.

The Bible says, when Jesus multiplied the bread, they are as much as they wanted. They were totally satisfied. They reached a place where they were 100% content with what Jesus gave them.

This morning may you understand that even with the problems and struggles you have in any areas, the Lord is preparing you to satisfy in those areas. If you are patient and persistent then He will give you today as much as you want.
So, later in the story, it says that the disciples picked up 7 large baskets of leftover food.
Not only is the Lord going to fill you but He is going to entrust you with an overflow so that you can meet the need of other hungry people.

The problems that we encounter is not only for us to see that the Lord provides but also for you to receive this overflow which can become a channel to take this grace, healing, provision, power, glory to other people who need them.

Do not always criticise your lack, because sometimes your lack may make a way for your overflow. #feedingfourthousand Share on X

In fact, when you see a lack in your life you need to rejoice and thank God for the overflow that you will experience in the days to come.
Here’s a word for you, that you are going to eat as much as you want and you will be satisfied. The Lord is going to satisfy your body, soul and spirit. There is going to be no area’s in your life where there is going to be a need because the Lord is your shepherd and you shall not want anything.

Hope that this will encourage you and help you to the fullest potential.
