A king detests wrongdoing, for his rule is built on justice. – Proverbs 16:12

Transcript:

Firstly, we will look at Proverbs 16:12 from God’s perspective. The fact is that God is a King over His subjects, and we are the subjects to the Kingdom of God and God, the King, detests wrongdoing, and His rule is built on justice. We need to understand this is why God does not want us to engage in a certain activity or in behaviour or in thought pattern because He detests wrongdoing. He does not want us to engage in a lifestyle that will be unjust. We may think we are only doing something that we like and how this being an injustice. Your pleasure can be at someone’s expense. It is causing great damage and hurt to somebody else on the other side of the screen and God detests wrongdoing because His Kingdom is built on justice. Look for areas on your own where there is wrongdoing and how you can detest.

Secondly, it is talking about “A King” who detests wrongdoing and His rule is built on justice which means if you are somebody who detests wrongdoing, then your identity is that of a king. If you are somebody who enjoys wrongdoing, then you are not a king.

We are a royal priesthood that God has called out for these last days. We will be reigning under the leadership of our King of Kings and that is why Jesus is called the Kings of Kings because he is only ruling over the kings who will be ruling over the others. When you allow your home to be built on justice and pursue justice in your church and workplace and you are keeping as much distance as possible from all kinds of evil and wrongdoing, you are automatically transforming yourself. God will call you a king if you are willing to let the world around you, your home, and your relationships are built on justice.

When you detest wrongdoing, you are qualified to become a king in the Kingdom of God. Share on X

Let this be the prayer for ourselves that everything we do will have a seal of God’s divine justice, righteousness, beauty, glory, love, and kindness in every aspect of our lives.

Have a blessed and beautiful week ahead.
