In the current season, every church is being required to function in a different manner than the regular. It is streamed online which is new for every team in the church. The team  facing the biggest impact is the worship team. Earlier when we worshipped in the live setup, many things were insignificant but with this change, the team becomes the most prominent. These challenges can be stressful for the team. Everyone spectating assume it to be easy.

The sign which indicate your path to burn-out is, you worship only because it’s your obligation. You must check your intentions and your heart before you step on to worship. Other members in the church may not see it, in which you will begin to depend on your experiences. At some point, you will run out of your experiences and that’s why you must keenly depend on God. You must take care of yourself by receiving help.

Here are five things where you can avoid burn-outs:

1. You Prepare Well and Ahead of Time

Do not keep things for the last moment. If you believe in your calling for worship, make it your lifestyle. Make the small moments in your life as worship. You must continue to prepare. When you begin to do this, you are ready ahead of time. Be intentional about your personal worship.

2. Decrease Commitments Which are of Less Priority

When you know you have different responsibilities in church and understand your calling for worship, you must know when to let go of your other responsibilities. Approach your team leaders and also ask for their help. Leave some responsibilities which are of less priority. This includes giving up a few things in your personal space to take in time for your worship calling.

3. Work Hard to Delegate the Work

We face burn-outs because we take up all the responsibilities on us. It is okay to ask help from your team members. You must learn to delegate your responsibilities. Let the entire team be equally involved through inspiration. Work together with everyone in the team.

4. Discover New Worship Leaders

Raise other members in your church to enable them for this ministry through mentoring and training. Raise innovative and creative leaders for your church without insecurities. Encourage them to rise up.

5. Take Intentional Breaks

We must also be in a place where we receive from worship. It is required for you to take breaks intentionally. As you do this, do not sit and criticise but receive in worship.

Hope this helps.
