Greetings in Jesus name. Welcome to this amazing new morning. I pray that today you will receive an unique portion, inheritance and blessing from the Lord because His mercies are new every morning. We can expect something today that we have never experienced before in our lives.
Let’s turn to the book of Titus Ch1 vs 1
Here we see Apostle Paul, he is introducing himself to Titus and he is also explaining the purpose of this letter and the assignment on his life. He says, ” Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness”
Here, Apostle Paul is saying, this is who I am, I am a servant of God and at the same time I am an apostle of Jesus Christ. Everything that Paul taught and did, every ministry that he pioneered, he did out of a revelation of who he is. He knew from the very beginning that he is not a servant of a man or an organization or of circumstances but a servant of God. He also understood he is an apostle, that he is sent by God. He goes on to explain the mandate upon his life. He says this is who I am and this is what I am living for. Paul says he is living for the faith of God’s elect.
Wherever he went, he wanted people of God to grow in faith. He wanted them to have a revelation of God which will cause them to believe better, correct and ferociously.
This morning, wherever you are as you listen to this podcast, my hope and my prayer is that your faith, will be strengthened and that you will grow in your belief system.
It is impossible for a genuine seeker of God to receive a Word from God and not to grow in faith, because faith has to automatically come by the hearing of the Word. So as I preach this Word to you, as I bring God’s heart over your life, I pray that your faith will increase. Please remember that the faith that God has given you, has a more powerful and greater impact than the sicknessess and the lack that are threatening you right now. If you will choose to believe what God has spoken about you about your future, you will become an overcomer. That’s what Apostle Paul was a preacher of faith. He says faith is not enough, there is a knowledge that comes along with your growth and grace in faith.
The problem with so many Christians today is that they are strong believer’s yet they are ignorant and nor discerning. They lack spiritual intelligence and remain unaware of the real truth.
So our pursuit is not just to grow in faith, but also in knowledge of truth. If all your knowledge of Christian living is to to love poor and sick, then you will never believe God for prosperity and healing. That’s why it is important to listen and look for truth from every source.
People can come from season to season to encourage you and grow in your faith, but you have to carefully decide who will preach the truth to you. Your faith and knowledge leads to Godliness which is important to select truth tellers in your life.
When we have an intentional combination of faith and truth, an intentional balance of our growing in our belief systems and awareness, knowledge and understanding the truth, it will lead us into Godliness. That is our ultimate goal.
Jesus died on the cross so that we can become godly. Godliness can be seen in our lifestyle.
Let’s pray, Father, we want to be a godly generation that seek after you, that desire you, that want to manifest you, that will look like you, every day for the rest of our lives. We know it’s only possible when we grow in our faith and truth at the same time. So this morning we pray that you give us the grace to discern who are the truth tellers in our life, to understand where our faith grows and where it diminishes. We thank you for hearing our prayer.
In Jesus name. Amen.
