Today, believe that the grace of the lord is fighting for you. The enemy is going to constantly work hard to condemn or criticise us, to make sure that we are aware of our weaknesses. So, it is necessary that we learn to focus ourselves on the strength of God, because when we are weak, he is strong.
The bible says in Psalms 27:3, even if a host, or army would encamp against me, which means even if i’m surrounded, I will choose not to fear. It is very hard when you surrounded to not give into fear. The Lord is releasing courage and confidence into your heart, as you read through these lines.
Remember the story of Job, how he was going from one defeat to the next one, and in all of that, he didn’t allow fear to take over his heart, he kept confessing his faith in the Lord. He did not allow his fear to control his decisions, his emotions or his behaviour patterns. The moment we make a choice within us saying, even if I’m surrounded, I am not going to fear, we have already set ourselves up for victory.
The Psalmist goes on to say, even though a war rise against me, even then in this, will I be confident. So that’s the second thing that the Lord is giving us. The lord is restoring our confidence. Because, there is a fear that has drained that confidence previously, but today, the Lord is restoring that confidence because he says, even if an army would rise up and surround you, because you do not fear and are not afraid to pick up battles, that is ahead of you. Your confidence is now going to be returned is going to be rushed forward. Because your confidence, your trust is ultimately in the Lord, in his presence, in his work, that is working in and through you.
