If we have Jesus on our side, we are blessed and successful. Most of us want a breakthrough in one area or the other, the very fact we have God on our side is a breakthrough in itself. If God is for us, who can be against us?
In 2 Chronicles 16:18, when God speaks to a King, he says “Were not the Cushites and Libyans a mighty army with great numbers of chariots and horsemen? Yet when you relied on the LORD, he delivered them into your hand. The reason some of our enemies are big or powerful is God’s plan. If Goliath was an ordinary guy, anybody could’ve killed him and the victory would not be so glorious. The fact some of our enemies look like they have the upper hand is a good thing because God has planned it that way.
God tells his leaders “Were not the Cushites and Libyans a mighty army with great numbers of chariots and horsemen” YET “when you relied on the lord, he delivered them to his hand” What did they do to defeat such a great chariot, and horsemen? They needed to rely on God. In the same way, if it wasn’t for the fierceness and gigantic stature of Goliath that revealed the anointing of a young David. If not, his anointing would remain hidden within the walls of Jesse’s house. The mighty Cushites and Lybians in our lives will only magnify the power of God, and will only amplify our strength.

Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
