Explosive Power

Philippians 4:12-13 (TPT)

“I know what it means to lack, and I know what it means to experience overwhelming abundance. For I’m trained in the secret of overcoming all things, whether in fullness or in hunger. And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty.”

Welcome to this new atmosphere of receptivity where we can easily receive His grace, help, and protection in our lives. There are some atmospheres that do not conduct the grace of God but we are in an atmosphere where we hear the word of God, increase in our faith, and are able to receive from God. We are the channel that God uses to overflow His grace to others. There may be times when we feel that this grace is not working for us when we look at our circumstances.

Philippians 4:12-13, it says “I know what it means to lack, and I know what it means to experience overwhelming abundance. For I’m trained in the secret of overcoming all things, whether in fullness or in hunger. And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty”. Apostle Paul says that there were times when he had a lack. It can be a lack of physical resources, emotional resources, or church related resources. He also experienced overwhelming abundance. He had learned to experience the grace of God, the revelations of God, and had also tapped into the heart of God and knew how to overcome all things; like things that would hurt him when he had lacked and things that could hurt him when he had abundance. He had learned the secret of overcoming all things. So even when the grace that is supposed to be helping us looks like it’s not working for us, we can look at this example from Paul and say that we can also overcome it as Paul did.

From Apostle Paul’s testimony, we learn that there is a strength that Jesus Christ gives that is explosive; there is nothing else like it. This power provides, defeats, and surpasses all things. Paul was able to conquer every difficulty because of this power. This grace helps when we are weak or lacking but this doesn’t mean that we won’t have any difficulties, but that His power is at work in us. His power will help overcome every challenge that the enemy brings. It is easy to put the blame on God and say that God didn’t help me or to blame others that they didn’t help. The Bible says that God is going to infuse us with strength, power, ability, talents, solutions, and answers. We will be the problem solvers. The answer is in God’s hands. And since we are carriers of this grace, the answer is in our hands. We are the carriers of Christ’s explosive power.

Mark 3:24-26 (NKJV)

Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.

The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.

God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.

The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
