Suffered a Great Deal

by | Podcast

‭‭Mark‬ ‭5‬:‭26‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)
“She had suffered a great deal from many doctors, and over the years she had spent everything she had to pay them, but she had gotten no better. In fact, she had gotten worse.”

Based on Mark 5:26, this message reflects on the woman who had suffered for twelve years, exhausted every option, spent everything she had, and yet continued to grow worse. Her physical suffering was accompanied by emotional, relational, and financial exhaustion, leaving her with nowhere else to turn. Yet her encounter with Jesus brought a complete change to her situation. The message reminds us that people around us may have limited ability to help, but Jesus is never limited by the depth of our circumstances. Even when we feel overwhelmed, rejected, empty, or without another option, we can still come to Him with faith and humility. One encounter with Jesus can bring hope and restoration, but we are also encouraged not to seek Him only for a breakthrough, but to continue walking in devotion, surrender, and relationship with Him.
