Burdened with Sins

by | Podcast

Isaiah 43:24 (NLT)
You have not brought me fragrant calamus or pleased me with the fat from sacrifices. Instead, you have burdened me with your sins and wearied me with your faults.

Based on Isaiah 43:24, this message reminds us that God desires worship that goes beyond church services and outward expressions of devotion. The people of Israel brought offerings while continuing to live in ways that displeased Him, allowing sin and unhealthy desires to take the place of wholehearted worship. In the same way, we can sing, pray, and give to God while still placing money, relationships, pleasure, or personal desires above Him. True worship is revealed through the way we live when no one is watching, the words we speak, the choices we make, and the way we handle our responsibilities. God calls us to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, allowing every part of our lives to honour Him. May our daily habits and actions become a fragrant offering that brings Him joy and glory.
