Psalms 65:13
The meadows are clothed with flocks of sheep, and the valleys are carpeted with grain. They all shout and sing for joy!
Series: Psalm 65
We started studying Psalm 65, verse 9 onwards, where it talks about a divine anointing, productivity, and overflow.
God does not want us to live ordinary lives.
The first part of today’s verse explains how the meadows will be clothed with flocks of sheep and the valleys will be carpeted with grain which would be an ultimate result of the divine overflow, prosperity, and joy.
Let’s visualise a mountain covered with sheep. We can barely see that mountain anymore. The second part of the verse says, instead of the brokenness we are going to see grain and productivity. God is going to bless our valleys and mountain top experiences with productivity.
Inspite of the mountains and valleys, we will remain productive because of which there will be a shouts and songs of joy. A worship would arise naturally as a result of us being blessed.
Just as God promised Abraham that his descendants would be numerous like the stars in the sky and the sand of the seashore, God is promising to bless us.
Let’s declare together that in 2018 we are going to be productive in our mountains and our valleys, and they will overflow with grain and flocks of sheep, which will in turn result in worship in response to God’s blessing and His favour.
