Accelerated Harvest
John 4:35 NLT
“You know the saying, ‘Four months between planting and harvest.’ But I say, wake up and look around. The fields are already ripe for harvest.”

In today’s scripture portion Jesus is speaking about the natural order of things. Yesterday we studied about how there is particular season for everything like for harvest, sowing or planting.
There is always a gap between the planting and the harvest. It takes a few months in a regular order of things. Let’s say if you have planted the seeds in the month of March or April then you may harvest the crops in the month of September or October. That’s the order how it works. Here Jesus is teaching His disciples about the seasons and timings in God’s perspective.
In the New Testament realm something is going to shift and change and there is going to be a acceleration or quickening in your harvest bearing process. Your harvest will suddenly come when it is least expected.
Prayer: Father I pray that You will open some people’s eyes to see the harvest that You have planted and You have prepared and You have brought in their lives already in this season. Lord do something new, we may not understand how You do this but we yield to the power of Your word and when we yield to Your word then its a yes and amen always. We thank You that You are in control in Jesus name we pray. Amen.
