Good Mornings and greetings in Jesus’ name. Welcome to this beautiful new day. I believe that Lord has filled you with his presence afresh today. When you wake up in the morning and when you go into his presence and ask for his mercy, grace, new revelations, he is also going to anoint you and that is for a specific purpose, a specific task lest so that he can keep you completely for his purposes and for his glory for the course of this day.
The Bible says in Exodus 40:13 – “Dress Aaron with the sacred garments and anoint him, consecrating him to serve me as a priest.” Here we can see that God is giving instructions through Moses for the purification of the priest. You should understand that becoming the priest or serving God as a priest, serving the nations as a priest was a high calling. It was an assignment on Aaron’s life and his family line after Aaron’s life; it will be his son’s who will be serving as high priest. The Bible says that there was a process to reach that high calling and to complete the assignment that was on his life. For this to happen Aaron has to go through a process of purification. He had to take a bath, which was a ritual bath and in this bath he will disconnect from all physical impurities and after this bath he has to come into the presence of the Lord were Aaron is going to be dressed with priestly garments. Now the old identity will not work, how people identify him and his dressing sense, the way he carried himself the hairstyle, the beard, the way that he did his nails all of it got refined and then God gave him a completely new style, new dressing sense, completely new ability to identified differently by the people around him. Now before the Lord would fill him with his presence; before the Lord would anoint him, Aaron had to go through this process.
Sometimes we come into the presence of the Lord and we keep asking for anointing, his presence, new grace, new ability and yet we are not willing to go through the process God would take us through. Here you notice that Aaron couldn’t just walk in and be anointed; Aaron had to take a bath; Aaron had to dressed in the priestly garments before the anointing oil flow on him through him and now began to change who he is and what he is capable of.
Today if you want the Lord to anoint you for his purposes, you need to first take a step of faith and disconnect yourself from physical and spiritual impurities, emotional impurities, any adulteration in your heart and mind; you need to let go of it. We cannot devalue the anointing that we are about to receive, we cannot adulterate the anointing that we are about to receive. So keep aside everything else.
Some of them may not be actually sinful and yet may not be what God wants you to do. In the New Testament, Jesus says that the cares and worries of everyday life, has the power to choke the seed that is about to bring harvest. So it can just be worries about bill payment, managing expenses; worries has the capacity to adulterate the anointing that will fall on your spirit. My prayer is that we will keep those worries, fears and anxiety aside.
Take a bath, a spiritual bath, a physical or an emotional bath. Make sure that there is everything that is necessary to be flushed out of your system. And then the Bible says that you need to be clothed in priestly garments. After the bath you have to put on certain new principles, you need to read the scriptures. Allow the Lord to put some new revelations into your life.
This morning as you are listening to this podcast that is a fresh garment coming upon you because you are willing to take in this principles into your spirit. It was after the dressing that Moses was suppose to anoint him. The Bible says that dress Aaron in the priestly garments and then anoint him; once he is anointed with the oil, he is now consecrated, now he is able to serve God as a priest. Now everything that God has assigned for Aaron to do he is able to do, he is allowed to do, he is welcome to do that. But till the time anointing doesn’t fall on him he may be physically capable but he is not spiritually capable. He may be physically attractive and physically looking fine and spiritually he is not ready to serve God.
Today we wanna live for the Lord we need a fresh portion of that anointing. As you pray with me, as you receive this revelation, as you say yes to letting go of the physical, spiritual, emotional, mental impurities and as you are willing to embrace your new garments there is a fresh anointing that the Lord is releasing over your life that will consecrate you, set you apart to serve God for the course of this day, receive this anointing , receive this oil and let this grace fill you through and through. Today you will not compromise, you will not fall short. Today you will fulfill the assignment, the plan, the purposes of God for your life in every way 100%. In Jesus name we declare that of your life and God’s people said an Amen!
