Are Kids Ready for Church Ministry?

In today’s Church talk, Pastor Priji talks about how we shouldn’t neglect children in our church for ministry and how we can train them and allow them to serve God. Hope this encourages your church kids to push them to grow and serve the Lord from their youngest age.

Often the children in our church get neglected in church! The reasons could be many but it is necessary that we work hard to minister to them bless them and help them get involved in ministry like distribution of Bibles, participating in worship team etc.

Josiah was just eight years old when he was anointed to be king!

The Word says the Holy Spirit will be poured on children in the last days. When children are given this promise why not take our time to invest spiritually in them? When you do that children feel significant and important.

You are developing and creating in them a heart for God and also God’s house. You can involve them in prayer. You also train them to hear and reflect the voice of God.

We have to become intentional and spend time with the children where they can be taught and trained in the Church. In doing this we are preparing a generation for God.

Sometimes children make mistakes and its absolutely fine. Give them the space they require. Allow them to have fun and be creative.

We can always be give a feedback when something is not right. Everyone makes mistakes. Don’t condemn them.

Speak life and encourage them. Push them and don’t stop them.
