With Much Wealth
Joshua 22:8 ESV
He said to them, “Go back to your tents with much wealth and with very much livestock, with silver, gold, bronze, and iron, and with much clothing. Divide the spoil of your enemies with your brothers.”

The first 4 books of the old testament, the entire story unfolds of how the Israelites came back to the promise land and how they captured every land from the enemy.
The eastern tribe was allotted the eastern side of the land and these tribes had promised Moses that even if they have received their property they would go with him and fight to acquire the entire promise land, but Joshua in the last days of his life speaks to the Israelites to go back but this time with much wealth, livestock, gold, silver, bronze and clothing.
God is not a debtor to anyone. He will make sure to pay you for what you are doing for Him.
The verse says – Divide the spoil of your enemies with your brothers.
This is speaking of the people who couldn’t join in the battle, but Joshua is asking to divide the spoil and share it with the brothers.
Are willing to share what God has blessed you?
God wants to bless you, but are you willing to let that blessing come out of you and bless a generation that is ahead of you. If you are willing to do that, then God will be able to entrust you with the kind of wealth that is only spoken about in legends.
God’s plan for you is greater than your greatest dreams.
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
