Good morning and Greetings in Jesus’ name. Welcome to this new day.

Will you believe that the Lord’s provision and His presence will constantly work in every season of our life and the response to Gods provision has to be that of gratitude, its not to take the presence of God for granted, it should be that of surrender!

God is intentionally watching us to see how we are responding to His faithfulness in our life.

When we read Isaiah chapter 63, we see a constant reminder of God’s faithfulness and His work in the life of His people. And then in verse 10 it says, But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; So He turned Himself against them as an enemy, And He fought against them.

This was not God’s original intention. God’s intention was that they would be blessed and prosper and be the most favored people on the earth; and yet when they started seeing blessings and provisions that automatically turned against God, and took pride in their own riches. They took the blessings of God for granted and not only did they rebel against the Lord, they also began to grieve the Holy Spirit.

It is a dangerous sin to grieve the Holy Spirit of God. Its one thing to rebel and not be obedient to every command that the Lord has given us; but it is very dangerous to grieve the Holy Spirit of God. This is not pardonable!

The Holy Spirit is so loving and loyal and helpful. Why would you want to grieve the Holy Spirit? Why would you want to fight the active move of God on earth?

Today one of the things we need to list out are the various places and things where we are tempted to rebel against the Lord and grieve the Holy Spirit. If we actively participate to run away from these things and overcome certain habits that cause us to grieve the Holy Spirit, then we will not be subject to the punishment that the people of Israel had to undergo. The punishment that they underwent was that God turned to become their enemy. This is the danger of rebellion and grieving the Holy Spirit of God.

If people fight, abuse or cheat you, you don’t have to worry! But when God turn against you and become your enemy, we don’t have anything left; we cannot risk making enemies with God. God has made a through Jesus to have a permanent and lasting relationship between heaven and earth.

But when we constantly grieve the Holy Spirit, God turns to become your enemy. And as your enemy He will start making war against you.

Today, God is inviting us, He wants us to be aware of the dangers of hurting the Holy Spirit. Satan knows that he cannot harm the children of God, and that is why he will tempt us so that we harm ourselves, we rebel against the Lord and grieve His Holy Spirit. We have to be extremely careful.

Lets pray: Lord we thank you for your word and the protection that you have given us. One thing that we don’t ever want to do is to become enemies with you. Give us the grace to not rebel and grieve the Holy Spirit that you have filled us with.
