Welcome Discipline

Transcript:
Each day, we receive it as a gift from God because of His mercy.
If His mercy is withdrawn from our life, then we will be judged and it leads to death.
It’s not just physical death but spiritual death which is damaging, that can bring a full-stop in our relationship and understanding of God.
So often we prioritize our physical world over the spiritual world but that is not how God wants it to be.
If you read the context what God says about dishonouring in the 1 Corinthians 11:32, which talks about the bread and wine, if we do not value the communion, we fall prey for challenges and the problems that everybody faces and there is specific judgment that is meant for us.
But here it says that when we are judged it is not a judgement that leads to your spiritual death but it says that we are disciplined by the Lord.
There are three words that are mentioned here:
– Condemned
– Judged
– Disciplined
‘Condemned’ is a result of judgement which you see in the law in this world. But here Paul says the result in God’s kingdom for condemnation is a temporary discipline so that we don’t have to be condemned with the rest of the world.
So often we walk in our life and we dishonour the body of Christ, the church or the leaders or members, and we become on the wrong side of the judgement.
There are two sides of this judgement:
1- You refuse to take the judgement
2- Surrender into the hands of God and let Him discipline you.
The second option is always a better option to let God discipline you. It may crush you for a moment but it’s better we be disciplined now than to be condemned with the world.
There is always hope and there is always grace in Him.
Discipline is a proof of the Father’s love for you. Share on XToday allow God to work on your character, emotional and your soul and make you holy, righteous, pure and whole.
