Welcome to another day with Jesus, a daily morning podcast, bringing you the word of life. As you wake up to the several possibilities of a new day, made this word, stir up your faith and equip you to be victorious.
Greetings in Jesus name. Welcome to this amazing new morning. I hope that you are enjoying this process of being purified by the Lord. I pray that the Lord is himself very personally involved in helping and equipping and edifying you. If you read the book of Jeremiah 47:6, the Bible says you sword of the Lord, how long will it be before you are quiet, put yourself back into this rest and be still the prophet. How long will it be before the sword of the Lord will come to arrest? When will it happen that God will take a break?
I am in control, God says, and yet I am the one who allowed it. I have ordained for your sanctification. I have decreed that you will be purified, he adds. That is why I have allowed the sword to run through your land.
I am the sovereign God who is in charge because I know that the real you is going to manifest in the midst of the adversity, Jesus said. The prayer would be saying, you are my gardener stretch forth. Your pruning hooks stretch forth that sword or that sickle and do your cleaning. If there are any things that can become a trap or a temptation against me against the plans and the purposes of God in my life, then purify me today. In Jeremiah, the prophet looks at the nations that the Lord is destroying around him.
He says, I think this is too much. I think we cannot bear it. It could have been financially and economically a disaster, even for the nation of Israel. And yet it was for their betterment. Only those that have the eye to see things from God’s perspective will look at a disaster like this and see the hand of the Lord.
Whether you produce fruit or whether you don’t, both of you will get touched on by the razor. But the ones that do produce fruit, the father, he’s going to prune them.
It is not to destroy you, that the Lord cuts you when the Lord cuts you – It is because he wants to make sure you multiply. Your fruitfulness goes to the next level. So instead of saying you sort of rested, we say you sword of the Lord, finish your work in my life.
Dear father, we thank you for the, I use of discernment that you’ve given to your children to know when the Lord is trying to discipline us to know when the sword of the Lord is trying to disconnect us from the enemies from the perhaps that is laid around us. We thank you for the grace. You have given us to submit in this season to acknowledge your goodness, to acknowledge your good plans for each and every one of our lives. We healed ourselves to the sword of the Lord to be helped, to be corrected, to be prune and to be purified and to be accelerated into greater fruitfulness in Jesus mighty name, we pray. Amen.
