Altar that Purifies

Good morning and greetings to you in Jesus precious name!

Today the Lord wants to remind you that there is a divine responsibility upon you. As a child of God, you are the salt of the earth in which you are living in and you are the light of the world to which you have been sent to. When we realize this as our divine responsibility, the way we react to the problems or situations around us will be different. When we see and hear of issues and problem that people or cities are facing, we will seek divine solutions for them in the presence of God that will help and bless people in the cities we are living in. When you allow God to use you to bless your city and nation, God will do something unique and purposeful that will last for generations to come through your life. It can be through your church, or maybe through your offerings or the lifestyle that you live.

In the olden days, God has given specific instruction on how, where and when the people of Israel can host God’s presence so that they could not build an altar or erect a tabernacle however they wanted or do whatever they liked. But in our days and times, those who worship God is not upon a mountain or in a church or temple. But today those who worship God must do it in spirit and truth. The real question for us today is not where and when we build an altar, but the real question is, do we understand the power of our altars!

If the altar that we are building is built in the right manner, built-in truth and spirit, built on the right foundation, Jesus Christ being the centre of our worship and glorifying God’s name are at the end of it all and if building the kingdom of God is what you desire by building your altars, then that altar has the capacity to purify your defiled land.

We know that we are living in a time and day where every city and every nation around the world is faced with a pandemic and many people across the world and even in the church don’t know how to respond to it. Today morning can we ask God to give us the grace to build an altar that will purify the land, that will bring grace and healing over the land that is defiled. Today if you chose to build an altar along with your church or family or as an individual in your city, something that has been shut for generations will break lose and heavens will open up over your city because the word God says that we can build altars that can purify the land. Today, it is the need of the hour to build an altar in our city and nation so that the altar will end up purifying the land.

When Isaiah was in heaven, the bible tells us that the angel of God took a coal from the altar and placed it in the lips of Isaiah. Today, we want God to take a coal from our altar, to take something precious from the sacrifices we bring before the Lord, and place it before the diseased, broken and hurting world around us so that we can be the source of their healing. We can be the salt of the earth and the light of the world.

May our worship become the answer or the healing point for your city and the land you represent.
