What better way to express our love for God than by expressing our love for our people who God has placed among us. We have been studying on who are our neighbours that God has placed among us.

In Ezra, chapter one is talking about the second exodus where people are moving to Israel and the neighbouring people are watching them and extend their help in the ways possible.
Question: Many times we are comfortable in helping people who are in need, but do we neglect helping christian ministries?
There are so many other people who are working really hard for God, going to rural places, who don’t look for attention, no one acknowledges them, they work for God with the little things they have. We need to extend our help to them with whatever we have with us to support not just for the people but for the destinies they have. The people who were helping the Israelites, they were not just expressing their love for their neighbours but also expressing their love for Jerusalem. If you love God, His church, His kingdom, His house and His work, we have to be excited to partner with what God is doing. Look for someone whom you can help fulfil the call on their life. In doing so we will became a good neighbour. It’s easy to say you love but not give. Take efforts to give and be generous. That is the mark of a true godly good neighbour.
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
