Becoming Sensitive to the Prophetic Realm – Overcoming Ignorance

Do not neglect the spiritual gift you received through the prophecy spoken over you when the elders of the church laid their hands on you.
Give your complete attention to these matters. Throw yourself into your tasks so that everyone will see your progress.

Paul tells Timothy to not neglect his spiritual gift and to give complete attention to it.
When we look at the supernatural miracles that God has done in our lives, we look at the past and are amazed but when we become sensitive to the prophetic realm, we look at the future (one week later, or months later or years later or even the time after death)
Paying attention to the prophecies changes the way we spend our time and take decisions in our present.
A while back, when I was not living my life to the fullest and did things that didn’t glorify God; almost every prophet who came to my city, visited me and told me that I am called for ministry. And whenever this happened, fear would grip my heart, I would realize what I was doing wrong and get back on track by the help of the Holy Spirit
If you have received a prophecy, become accountable for it. Find someone who would believe the prophecy with you, start praying with them about it and put it into action.
Be aware of where you are headed and don’t be ignorant of your destiny.
Being aware of the prophetic realm will help you have a vision and a goal for your life (your marriage, your parenting, your ministry, etc.)
The more you become sensitive to the prophetic realm, the more you will become grounded in the word of God; if not, it may not be a true prophecy.
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
