Bible says that the Lord will make you head and not tail, if this is the blessing we want, then the Bible says that you have to obey the commandments of the Lord.

It is a conditional blessing from God. If we are constantly attentive to do everything that God is telling us to do, then God will make sure that you are constantly increasing and going up and not going down.
In the Old Testament after the law was given, the people of God tried their best in their own strength, ability, and religiosity to be obedient to God’s voice, and the more they tried, the more they failed and ended up breaking the commandments that God had given to them.

The one thing that we have today and the people in Old Testament did not have, is a revelation of who Jesus is. Because of this revelation, we now have the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit within us, and we are not living under the law but under grace now. Grace does not mean that we do not obey, but grace means we now have the ability to obey and do things that God has called us to do.

If we are trying to obey God on our own, we are going to fail miserably. We really need the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to keep the commandments of God and to stay and remain faithful till the end.
God does not just give us the reward for obedience but God also gives us the strength to be able to obey. God is not asking us to do anything in our power, strength, and wisdom.

Let us be intentional about what God has called us for and towards the next season of our lives and make sure to depend on the grace to obey and wait to see how God will make us a head and not a tail.
