Power and Strength
Isaiah 40:28-31
Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
What is that God wants you to hear and understand? What is that God wants you to have a revelation about when you begin your day and when you begin your week?
God is giving a fresh revelation of who He is. So often, we think the solution to our problems is very physical or tangible. The best solution to all of your troubles, problems, struggles, temptations, and everything that you face and you feel are challenges in your life is the revelation of who God is.
What you need is not a tangible help, what you need is a revelation of who your God is, what He can do.
This is what the bible says; The Lord is the everlasting God, which means He will outlast your troubles, He will outlast your problems.
The Lord has so much wisdom, understanding and insight because He is the creator, He is not limited in time, and He is somebody who never gets tired and never gets weary.
Lord has infinite measure of Himself in Him that He can give you and He can reveal to you and every revelation that He gives to you is technically an answer to an area of your life and that will make you go the next level of your life.
Can you put your faith this morning in what He is, who He is and just confess this over your life.
Prayer:
Father, I pray over Your children this morning, and I declare Your voice to become louder and clearer, and more easily accessible for them and to the extent that they cannot just hear You but they begin to see who You are. Lord I need a fresh revelation of who You are this morning and so that we can see who You are and how awesome You are and how Your revelation, how Your presence in our life can take care of all of our life struggles. We yield ourselves to You, in Jesus name we pray.
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
