But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit.

This is the one rare time in the Bible where faith is referred to as ‘holy’. Our prayer life increases our holy faith.
Pray consistently. Jesus told His disciples to watch and pray so that they don’t fall prey to temptation. When you pray, your capacity to believe increases day by day.
There are times when we struggle with our prayer times. When our prayer life goes down, our faith and ability to trust God also goes down.
Your most holy faith needs continual build up. It is a continual process. The Bible says to pray without ceasing, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus kept pointing out to the Holy Spirit when the disciples asked Him how to increase their faith. When Peter and John healed and raised the crippled man at the temple, they had no doubt. They were already empowered by the presence of the Holy Spirit. That’s why it is necessary to pray in the power of the Holy Spirit.
How can we pray in the power of the Holy Spirit?
Speak in tongues. The Bible says you edify yourself when you pray in an unknown tongue. You edify your spiritual capacity. Exercise speaking words of life the Holy Spirit gives you. Be sensitive to the things the Holy Spirit releases upon your heart when you’re praying and pray exactly those things. When you do that, you would have prayed for something that is on God’s heart.
Most often we are not praying specific prayers, prayers that are in resonance with God’s heart. The Bible says when we don’t know what to pray for, the Holy Spirit prays for us through groanings that cannot be uttered.
When the Holy Spirit leads our prayers, our prayers come in resonance with the prayers God desires. Those are the prayers that are answered and build up faith.
Increase your dependency on the Holy Spirit, and you will see your faith abound. When you increase in your faith, you increase in your ability to please God and you will be called a worshiper in God’s eyes.
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
