Raging Against Me
Isaiah 37:29 NLT
And because of your raging against Me and your arrogance, which I have heard for Myself, I will put my hook in your nose and My bit in your mouth. I will make you return by the same road on which you came.
We keep finding reasons to blame for things that don’t go well in our lives. Though there might be legitimate reasons to blame but if we become a complain box and start murmuring which comes out of pride then we tend to lose God’s favour over our lives because God fights the proud.
King Sennacherib had come fighting against the people of God through his threats thinking that he was only insulting the people of Israel, but God took every word he spoke personally.
Sometimes we might think that we are complaining against a pastor, the church or a system but the Lord takes it personally.
In the new testament when Paul was persecuting the believers, Jesus appeared to him and asked “why are you persecuting ME?”
What are the things that you are upset about your pastors, your church or the people that God has placed around you? If you are upset, then bring it out in a graceful manner and talk to the right person.
God considers everyone of His children as precious and so He says, “I will put my hook in your nose and my bit in your mouth.”
It’s better that man hunts you than God hunting you.
Losing favour with people is not a big deal than losing favour with God.
It’s better to not get into the bad books of God in this area by speaking against the men and women of God. It’s not that you need to be a silent observer of something wrong that is happening, but Jesus taught a way on how to bring correction to the one who is continuously sining:
1- go to the person and confront
2- if the person is not willing to listen, get few more witnesses or elders
3- If again he is not willing then remove him out of the church
But don’t go on a rampage against any man of God or a church, that’s not going to benefit you.

No matter how flawed the men and women of God are, you don’t have to necessarily talk against them.
Fix your eyes on Jesus and glorify and lift Him up and let Him to what He wants to do through you.
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
