Servants of Righteousness
Romans 6:17-18 ASV
But thanks be to God, that, whereas ye were servants of sin, ye became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching whereunto ye were delivered; and being made free from sin, ye became servants of righteousness.

We can never be the lord of our own lives. Anytime that we become the lord of our own lives, we will tend to become the servants of sin, lust, pleasure, world, money; servants of everything but God.
How are we servants of sin? We were born in sin. Because we decided and desired to continue to live in an atmosphere and attitude of sin, what will come out through our lives is also all about sin.
If you have made the decision to become obedient from your heart to that form of teaching, then it is the teaching about the Grace of Jesus Christ, what He did on the cross for you and me which will deliver us from that sin
You cannot be delivered from sins from being servants of sin and not be serving anything else. It is so necessary for you not just stop serving sin but start serving God. What happens when you start serving God is that you automatically become servants of righteousness.
You need to be planted in Christ. You need to come to a place where you begin to serve God day in and day out. When you serve in that position, righteousness will automatically begin to manifest through your life without you doing anything.
The change happens when you begin to obey the teaching.
I pray that you will make that decision today and say “Lord Jesus I give You my life, I want to live my life not for the pleasure of the sin, I want to live a life for You so that I will ultimately become a servant of righteousness.”

Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
