Grace of Christ

I am astonished and extremely irritated that you are so quickly shifting your allegiance and deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different [even contrary] gospel. – ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭1:6‬ ‭AMP‬

Transcript:

God has blessed us with another opportunity to pursue and understand His ways. There is never going to be a day in our lives when we can wake up and say we are on our own that day, because every single day the Lord wants to be involved in our lives.

Usually it isn’t that God doesn’t want to speak to us but it’s that often times we misinterpret and misunderstand God’s heart for us. We may think God wants bad things for us, so often we feel contempt and unloved as though God doesn’t care for us. Sometimes we also get mislead by false teachings, so we need to go back to scripture and understand the correct teachings.

Paul was a man of peace who loved God and his spiritual children. He had a burden for the churches he planted and the people of God, that he would even stand in the gap for them.

In Galatians 1:6, we see that Paul was astonished and irritated because of the response the people of God had to the gospel.
These people had started enforcing false doctrines and Jewish customs among the people and church, that is why Paul expresses his irritation to them. Paul explains that God’s love for us is above and beyond our works, customs or traditions. So Paul questions their motives.

None of our responsibility as a child of God compares to the love of God. He is planning something good for us, we need to trust His plans for us.
The reason we get bitter with our circumstances is because we do not trust God’s heart and will for us.
Apostle Paul trusted God’s heart for his life, that is why even in circumstances where he was jailed, he became friends with the jailer, instead of getting bitter about his problem.

Let us go back to that place where we understand the grace of Christ towards us, and that we do not believe wrong doctrines but believe that God loves us in every circumstance of our lives.

The reason we get bitter with our circumstances is because we do not trust God’s heart and will for us. Share on X
