Good Things To Come

Good Morning and greetings in Jesus precious name!
Welcome to this beautiful new morning and beautiful new week.
I hope we are entering into this week with a fresh hope, confidence and an assurance about our future. God has promised us that we will have a future, we will have a hope and good things are in store for us. We have to learn to put our trust in what God has spoken over our lives.

‘Child of God’ remember that your destiny is different, it is not going to be the same as of your colleague at work, because you are headed to a different place, you are made for a different and unique purpose; the reason being you have put your faith in Christ Jesus.

The only good and perfect thing and person in the entire universe is Jesus, and anybody that puts their faith in Him, and anybody that makes Him their cornerstone, their foundation, their Lord and savior, the course of their life will look different from everyone else’s.

Hebrews 9:11 But Christ being come now, a high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with human hands, that is to say, not of this creation. In this scripture, we are being reintroduced to the person of Jesus. It says, ‘This Christ, He has now come, He is now here, He is now being revealed to us’. You and I, we are blessed because we have an understanding and a revelation of who Jesus is, of who the Christ is. We have the full picture, we have been given scriptures, teachings, an understanding, and an open and receptive heart of Christ. What can be greater, better or more beautiful than that?

There are so many people in the world who desire knowledge but their eyes are not open, there are people who are seeking answers, but they have not found this particular revelation. There are so many people who are knocking on different doors and yet they have not found the blessing and the pearls that you have found. The fact that you know, who Jesus is and what He has done, it is the ultimate blessing, it is the ultimate revelation, it is the ultimate wisdom and the ultimate riches that you can ever attain on this side of eternity.

The Bible says that this Christ, He has now come into our homes, into our lives, into history, He has come into our cities and into our churches. He has made himself manifest, now we have seen Him, heard of Him and tasted Him. That is in itself a great blessing and now the author is giving us a description of what this Jesus represents. It says, this Christ being now come, He is the high priest of the good things to come.

I hope that you could just scream an amen right now (wherever you are), because He is not the high priest of evil or bad and/ or wicked or broken things. He is the high priest of the good things to come. There are good things that are coming in your life, good things that are coming in your home, and good things that are coming for your church, for your city and the entire humanity. And Jesus Christ is the high priest of the good things that are yet to come. I believe that when we receive Jesus Christ, when we invite Him, when we grow in a relationship with Him, every good and perfect thing that is represented by this Jesus; it has to automatically unfold and manifest in our lives.

These good things that are yet to come; some of them are not even of this creation.
Let me read , it says , ‘Christ being now come, who is the high priest of the good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, that is not made with hands, that is, not of this creation’. What the author is trying to tell us, is that the good things to come, it is going to be perfect and a greater one, it is going to be a more beautiful one than what we have imagined here on the earth. The reason being our imagination; it is clouded by sin, by our lack of spiritual intelligence, by all the failures and the brokenness that we have experienced in the past.

The Bible says that Jesus, He is the high priest of a tabernacle that is greater and perfect, because it is not made by human hands, it is not it is not marred by human hands. Please remember, what God is about to give you and what God is about to bring through your life, there will be no human DNA on it; nor churches or no man of God or woman of God can claim responsibility for that blessing, because it is something that Jesus has prepared for you, it is something that Jesus is carving out for you, because the Bible says, He is the high priest of a good thing that is to come. Sometimes we think it is only talking about heaven.

My prayer for you is that God’s will be done in your life, here on earth just as it is in heaven. If God is preparing a perfect, and a beautiful and glorious thing for you in heaven, may it be done so here on the earth. May your marriage, your career, your business, your relationships be perfect. May you experience the good things that are coming into your life because of Jesus Christ, the high priest of the good things to come.

Prayer: Father, we thank you for this revelation, we yield ourselves completely to this scripture because Jesus, He is the high priest of the good things to come. Things that are not made with human hands, things that we have not hurt and broken with our inexperience’s and with a lack of spiritual understanding. We thank you for a greater blessing is coming into our homes. We thank you for a greater revelation is coming into our lives, and we say yes, and an amen to the good things that are yet to come, in Jesus name we pray. Amen!
