The Eternity Factor

In this episode of Another Day with Jesus, Apostle Priji welcomes you into a new morning filled with God’s mercy and faithfulness. From the very beginning, you’re invited to pause, breathe, and acknowledge the goodness of God that meets you afresh each day.

So often, you may find yourself frustrated when God’s promises seem delayed or when life doesn’t follow the timeline you expected. It’s natural to feel this way. But Scripture reveals something profound: in God’s kingdom, time doesn’t function the way you understand it. 2 Peter 3:8 explains that “a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like a day” to the Lord—an idea far beyond human logic or measurement.

Because God operates from an eternal perspective, you’re encouraged to release your rigid expectations and trust His timing. Instead of measuring progress according to human clocks, you’re invited into a posture of humility—believing that His ways, His timing, and His promises are perfect even when they don’t align with your schedule.

God has placed eternity in your heart. That means you’re called to live, pray, and make decisions with eternity in mind. You can treat each hour with diligence, valuing it as if it carries the weight of a thousand hours. Yet you’re also reminded not to boast in your long hours of prayer, service, or experience—because in eternity, time doesn’t define your worth or impact.

It’s easy to slip into comparison when you see others move faster, receive more, or seem more blessed. But comparison only leads to insecurity, murmuring, and discouragement. This is why you’re urged to remember that one essential truth: in God’s economy, time is not a limitation. A single day of obedience, faith, and the right posture of heart can shape generations—even the next thousand years.

With this perspective, today becomes more meaningful. How will you walk with God? How will you pray? How will you respond to His leading, knowing that what you do today has eternal significance?

As you carry this awareness into your day, may God give you the grace to live with eternity in your heart—seeing this single day as both a gift and a seed that will bear fruit far beyond your lifetime.
