Jesus also used this illustration: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough.” – Matthew 13:33 NLT

Transcript:

The more we encounter God the more we ought to encounter His work too.

If you study the teachings of Jesus, you will find that it always revolves around the topic of the kingdom of God.

In Matthew 13:33, where Jesus narrates the parable where the woman uses a little yeast to make bread, comparing it to the kingdom of God. In the kingdom of God we are the yeast that have been added into the dough. And our job is to permeate to every part of the dough, which represents that we need to go to every part of the society and nations and bring about transformation.

So often we think that we are the only tongue speaking baptized believer in our office or home, but none of these is a hindrance for God to use the little yeast.

God doesn’t look at us as a minority but as a little yeast that has a capacity to transform the character of the entire batch of dough.

The also bible calls us as the ‘salt of the earth’, a little salt is enough to change the taste of the meal.

We might be small, but that’s all what God needs to establish His kingdom.

Are you going to be a willing vessel in the hands of the master to work on you?
