Become an Offering
Numbers 8:21 NLT
The Levites purified themselves from sin and washed their clothes, and Aaron lifted them up and presented them to the LORD as a special offering. He then offered a sacrifice to purify them and make them right with the LORD.

Series: The Darkness of Sin
God has called us to live in complete freedom and in fullness. We are also called to enjoy the day-to-day life with God, but often what stops our walk in purity is ‘sin’.
In today’s podcast, Pastor Priji teaches about “becoming an offering” through which we would know about the heart of God for us to live a sin-free life.
In the Old Testament, we see a sect of people called Levite’s, they were the set apart people who were sort out for serving as priests. One of the most important qualifications they needed in order to be the priests was to have a sin-free lifestyle.
In the New Testament we see that we have all been given access to the throne of God by our faith in Jesus which makes us like the sort out priests of the Old Testament.
We are priests and we are the temple of the Holy Spirit which means we need to live a sin-free life.
Living a life free from sin is also because we are an offering to God. In the Old Testament we see that animals without any flaws or defects were presented as an offering to God. In the New Testament there are no animal sacrifices to please God, we ourselves are a living sacrifice, therefore we are to live holy.
Let us live a life which is not controlled by sin and become offering unto God.
God bless you!
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
