We ignore the role of the Holy Spirit in our salvation. The trinity is all together working on us when we are getting saved. We don’t acknowledge the Holy Spirit so often, and that is why He seems to be the silent person in the trinity. And without knowing the Holy Spirit we cannot have a relationship with Jesus or the Father!
The Holy Spirit’s job description is to convict the world of its sin, the sin of disbelief, disobedience, distrust. Just like pain is a sign that something is not right with our bodies, so is the role of the Holy Spirit in our walk with God. The convictions He brings reveals to us of our sins.
We have to allow the Holy Spirit to convict us from our sins, even when it could become painful at times. He is the first person to convict us in our journey of salvation.
The more we welcome and acknowledge the presence of the Holy Spirit, the more He will reveal sinful and ungodly areas in our lives. Our hope is that during the course of this week, we will become increasingly aware of the Holy Spirit’s work in our salvation.
If you are in a place where you don’t know if you are really saved, just open your heart to the Holy Spirit and invite Him in to do His work in you. It is the job of the Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus to you, to show you the glory of the Father, to explain the importance of baptism to you. Just allow him into your heart and just watch what He will do.

Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
