Jesus is Lord
Philippians 2:9-11 NLT
Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, [10] that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, [11] and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Series: Jesus’ Exclusivity in Salvation
The Name of Jesus is the only Name in which is salvation. It is the Name above every other name. There is absolutely no other provision that is made available to us except through the Name of Jesus.
The most powerful name.
Let us visualize this point – There are so many names right from when Adam started giving names to the animals, birds, trees- all the species that is living, until now. Every church has a name, every organization has a name, every company has name, every home nowadays has a name, every person has a name.
Now God comes by to tell us, that there is a Name above all else, a Name elevated above everybody else. Now all these other names in the world- every one- has to bow their knee to the name of Jesus. Every tongue has to confess to this Name and declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over all.
This is a prophetic word over all of humanity, over all living beings, that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God.
When we look around, we see people cursing Jesus, swearing with the name of Jesus, taking Jesus’ Name in vain. But there’s going to come a day when every person is going to bow down to the Name of Jesus.
The only question is- will we do it willingly now, or will we be forced to do it when it will be too late?
Make the choice to do so willingly.
Every morning when we wake up, let’s make it a practice to go on our knees and tell Jesus that He is our Lord, bow our knees to his Name, declare him the Lord over our lives- even as we begin the day- that He is the Lord over our travel, our life, our living, our finances, our love, our conversations, over everything.
When we do it willingly, it has the capacity to open up our life to the Person of Jesus- the greatest Name above all names- giving space to Him to invade our life and cause in us a distinction from the world and to bring life and light into our life! As we confess, the love of God is going to come and flood, the peace of God is going to come and flood every area of our lives.
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
