Declaring Jesus as our Lord and Saviour of our life is more special when it is done according to the ordinance that God has given to us in the New Testament. Just as for a man and women to come together, the area of marriage is important, so is baptism for a person who accepts Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. This not only gives you an opportunity to tell of your love for Jesus and profess your faith in Jesus, this is a moment to be celebrate with heaven and the others who stand with us.
When we are baptized, we are baptized into one body which is Christ. We are under the rule of Christ and under his control. Most people think that, to get added to a church, all one need is a church membership or some acknowledgment. Scripture is clear, to get added to the church, one needs to confess their love for Jesus which is through Baptism. And by doing that we will be added to the Body of Christ.
The seal of the Holy Spirit comes upon you, when you show loyalty to Jesus through baptism. The simplest example could be, when a person is recruited into a company, he is given a card that proves that he belongs to that company. Similarly, we need to understand we are sealed by the Holy Spirit when we show our loyalty through baptism.
God wants to celebrate with you as you declare your faith before everyone. It’s an occasion that will get you added into the body of Christ and seal you with the Holy Spirit. It’s our prayer that everyone out there will understand the importance of Baptism. God bless you!
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
