When we walk in the light, we will definitely face challenges and persecutions.
There is a lot of persecution in India, especially in the rural areas.
John 15:20 NLT – Do you remember what I told you? ‘A slave is not greater than the master.’ Since they persecuted Me, naturally they will persecute you. And if they had listened to Me, they would listen to you.
If they persecuted Jeus, how much more will they persecute us?
Luke 9:26 NLT – If anyone is ashamed of Me and My message, the Son of Man will be ashamed of that person when He returns in his glory and in the glory of the Father and the holy angels.
We need to stay encouraged in the midst of the persecution that we face for preaching the gospel. Even when we get isolated at work or get alienated from our families or give up your rights; we should stay firm and not be ashamed of the gospel.
Mark 10:29-30 NLT – “Yes,” Jesus replied, “and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for My sake and for the Good News, will receive now in return a hundred times as many houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and property – along with persecution. And in the world to come that person will have eternal life.
To preach the gospel, we need to be willing to go through pain; it is not going to be easy.
Paul was persecuted till the point where they thought he was dead and dragged him out of the city and left him there.
We might have to go to places where we may not be accepted or celebrated, but let’s not give up preaching the gospel because of the pain.
I pray that you have divine courage and strength to do what HE has called you to do.
