Colossians 1:27 NLT
“For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.”
Let us know & understand that there are plenty of riches & glory of Christ for us. Earlier, A teaching said only the Jews could experience Jesus but the Apostles who were Jews began to teach the truth saying, this is for everyone who would have a relationship with Jesus.
There are riches & glories in your life. There are physical riches & glories, but there is a certain riches that can be in your relationship, academics or career. When you realise what is already bestowed for you, you can continue to trust in God. We look at the negative happenings of our life, but the Lord says He has riches for you.
These riches are not man made neither temporary. The glories & riches in store for you is for your eternal life because it is of Christ. He gives you these riches in all the aspects of your life.
The secret of Christ being with you is the assurance of your glories.
Let us invite Jesus in you hearts and experience the assurance of His glory. Sometimes, we are satisfied with the riches and blessings but riches standalone is not sufficient as we need riches and also glory. Riches are already bestowed upon you but for glory, you must invite Jesus to you heart and make Him the center of your life. And if you have invited Him, know that He’s the assurance of His glory!
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
