Strayed Away
Isaiah 53:6 NLT
“All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on Him the sins of us all.”

The name of Jesus is one hope giving, life giving and protecting name that we can always run to. The bible says that it is the one name which is the strong tower over our lives and yet so often we get lost in our lives.
Jesus spoke about the parable of the shepherd who had 100 sheep and one of the sheep gets lost, and how the shepherd leaves the 99 sheep back and goes after in search of the one lost sheep.
Isaiah 53:6 says every one of us are strayed away.
God’s foiled the purpose, the dream and plan that He had for our lives, because we strayed away, and hurt God, but we are like that one lost sheep for whom Jesus comes down to save.
The bible says Jesus came down on to the earth to die on the cross 2000 years ago. From the beginning He came announcing His death, He came declaring that He is going to be the Emmanuel and Saviour, the Lamb of God who’s going to be slain for the sins of the whole world.
Isaiah 53:6 says Yet the LORD laid on Him the sins of us all.
What was our sin? Our sin is not particularly a lie, adultery, stealing money or cheating someone but it is that we have strayed away from God and followed our own paths, desires and dreams. And God says that was a sin.
So God had to come up with the solution. So that’s why God took all of our sins and laid it upon Jesus who came for us. All of our past, present and future straying away, our rebellion, self ambition and self desires that we wanted, God took all of them and placed it upon Jesus and because He placed it on Jesus we are free of the burden of sins.
All that we have to do today is to accept Him as the Master of our lives.
When Jesus purchased us from the cross by shedding His blood, He owns everything of us.

Prayer: Dear Jesus, help me this morning, bring me back from my wondering. Thank You for coming out for me. Thank You for loving me with unconditional love. Thank You for dying for me on the cross. Thank You for paying for my sins with Your own blood. Thank You for taking all of my sins, rebellion against God upon Yourself. Be my Lord, my master and my father. From this day forward I belong to You 100% and I want to live for You 100%, I want to behave, be and do everything that is according to Your will and purpose and plans for my life. I’m all Yours daddy in Jesus name I pray. Amen.
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
