Jeremiah 31:31 HCSB
““Look, the days are coming” — this is the Lord’s declaration — “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.”
God is a mighty tower, a friend and a helper to those who is looking for Him. He is waiting for you to encounter Him.
In the old covenant that He made with Moses had a lot of rules and regulations to try and keep people holy for God. But in the new covenant, God is not standing afar and expect holiness from His people, but He wants to come near and be inside of us and write His heart on our hearts and His mind on our minds.
Most of the times we don’t do things that we want to do due to lack of motivation, but God says that He wants to change every little things from the inside of us.
This is one of the testimony of my life during the days when I was addicted to porn. No mater what I did I couldn’t get out of the addiction, but when I was in a season of praying and asking God for deliverance, God changed my mind and delivered me completely from the addiction.
No matter what sin or addiction is keeping you away from Jesus, He is inviting you into this pace where He can come inside of you. Until you allow Him inside, nothing will change, but the moment you allow Him, everything will begin to shift.
Prepare to receive this new covenant, and expect things to shift.
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
