We need to become the spokespersons of God, to become the voice of God even in the midst of the most unwelcoming and wildest circumstances of our lives.
Sometimes we get so satisfied by our personal journey and walk with God, becoming content knowing that we are growing in our personal revelations of knowing God, but that’s not enough.
The love we have for God needs to translate into love for the people around us as well. We have to become a revelation in our pursuit of God so that it may bless and edify those around us as well.
When people went and asked John the baptist if he was the Messiah, John responded that he was not the Messiah but the voice in the wilderness.
John meditated on the voice so much that ultimately he became the voice for the people to hear from heaven.
If we meditate on the revelation God gives us, we will be transformed into a revelation for those around us. Share on XWe don’t normally experience thunder in a dessert, maybe in a fertile land we can expect thunder and similarly, in the wilderness we don’t expect a gathering but yet, the Bible says people gathered in the wilderness for the message, they came to receive the thunder in the dessert.
Our situations and surroundings might look dry, but let us become the thunder in that dessert and the voice in that wilderness.
When we have encountered God, it needs to take us to a place for other people to encounter God. There are plenty of people out in the world who are dying because of lack of understanding and blinded by darkness. We need to show them the light, after we’ve done so, then it becomes their responsibility to pursue that revelation.
We owe this generation an encounter with God.
Let us submit to God so we can be used to thunder His voice in the desert.
