Luke 1:16 HCSB
“He will turn many of the sons of Israel to the Lord their God.”
It is often because we don’t understand the little things, the little visions, the little blessings that God has given us that we remain ungrateful, and have a challenge in accepting God’s will in our lives. Every time we see and acknowledge God’s work in our lives, we will automatically evoke a response of thanksgiving, of worship and of obedience. The best way we can obey God is by leading the people around is into a personal relationship with Jesus.
Before Jesus would come and die on the cross and save us all, God sent another man, John the Baptist, so he can go prepare the way for Jesus to come.
Today as we live in this world, we have a revelation of what God can do for us and has done for us. It is now our job to prepare the way for the second coming of Jesus. He’s going to come back again to transform this entire world into a beautiful pleasant kingdom where He will reign over the whole world.
If we do believe in the second coming, then it is necessary for us to become the forerunner to prepare the way and prepare people to bring people’s hearts to God.
What are practical things we are doing to lead people to God?
Luke 1:16 says, being sons of Israel was their cultural belonging, their genealogy, showed their bloodline, and at the same time, they had to be introduced to the Lord their God. People who had only a physical affiliation, also needed a spiritual affiliation of who their God and their master is.
While talking to people we need to keep in mind that they would know only their physical bloodline and not their spiritual belonging and thats why it is necessary to have a revelation of who God really is.
We need to be the hands and feet of Jesus to bring people to Christ, to tell them who God is, that Jesus is the freedom we can live in, the beauty we can dwell in. To bring people out of their circumstances of torture, lack of knowledge, ignorance etc.
Can we take a challenge to evangelize wherever we go, to talk about Jesus in every situation of life, to challenge people to the love of God because of our heartbeat, love, desire and what God has released in our lives and because of what Christ has done for us on the cross of calvary?
